Agistment Services

Pricing: $3.50 per day per alpaca includes all routine care the same as our own herd. Possible discounts can be discussed if you have several animals.

Service Description

We are pleased to offer agistment services to our fellow alpaca enthusiasts. While here at Circle C Alpacas, your alpacas are treated as if they are one of our own. We will get to know them on a personal level so we are able to spot any changes in personalities that signal a vet needs to be called.

Daily supplements, quality hay, free-choice minerals, fans & belly sprays during the warm months are just a few of the included services. Worming is done on an as needed basis so as not to create resistant parasites in which to deal with.

We have 2 local vets just minutes away, as well as vets at UGA, Auburn University & the University of TN just a phone call away.

We have someone on-site at all times. You are welcome to visit your alpacas whenever you can...you are even encouraged to work with us as we perform herd health & other necessary activities.

Our entire property is enclosed with 5' no-climb horse fence and a gated drive. Our theory behind this? "No critters in - No critters out!" We want the alpacas to be as safe as possible. Our Anatolian Shepherd protects everyone & everything NOT in the pasture, and our Great Pyrenees lives with the alpacas, both dogs patrolling 24 hours a day. This makes sure the neighborhood animals, (and the wild critters,) know they are NOT welcome!

Terms of Service

Some additional services with additional fees:

Vet assistance charges will be passed through to owner at actual cost.

Travel to universities, if required, incurs additional fees.

Late term dams through the first 2 weeks of the birth of her cria require extra TLC, so we charge a flat-rate "birthing fee"

Shearing is done once a year in April. We encourage you to attend & help with this day of transformation!

We can also provide halter training/show preparation...

If it involves alpacas, we can certainly discuss the options!!
